The iPhone vs. Action Photos
In addition to the addition of focus point control, the camera in the iPhone
3Gs is quicker on the trigger than my old first generation model. The first
generation had massive shutter delay (at least a second or two) when you'd
hit the "shutter" release button. But the 3Gs is much more responsive.
There's still a slight delay, but I toyed with a few action shots this
weekend at the BMX Triples event in Orange County. All photos straight out
of the iPhone processed with iPhone Apps (ie no use of computer).
